WTO exhibited at SIMODEC in France on the booth of Utilis AG. The booth of the WTO sales partner was an ideal place for successful conversations with many visitors.

“Beside numerous customers from the region “Haute Savoie” several visitors from whole Europe visited the WTO booth, also with qualified inquiries”, Michael Randler, team leader design of WTO, says.

WTO displayed at SIMODEC several new products and innovations to interested visitors:

- new driven toolholder programs for Swiss Type turning centers, including an innovative Thread Whirling unit

- new hobbing units for manufacturing gears on turning centers

- multiple static and driven precision toolholders for Y axis

- -95° to +95° adjustable angle drill/milling units.

Facts of SIMODEC:

Organized every two years since 1954, the SIMODEC 2012 ran from March 6-9 in La Roche-sur-Foron, France, having a total registration of 15,000 visitors during the four-day event. 240 companies (plus 30% to 2010) were exhibiting at SIMODEC.

The next SIMODEC will be 2014 in La Roche-sur-Foron, France.
